Job Description Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentKeep shop area neat and cleanCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed partsInspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessaryOperate all tools and equipment in a safe mannerCheck tire pressure and add air if neededPerform Multi-Point inspections on pre-owned vehiclesRecondition as per used car managers authorizationMaintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manualsDrain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filtersCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services neededProvide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
