BI Developer/Analytics Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a BI Developer / Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions that transform raw data into actionable business insights. This role will work closely with Business Analysts, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams to build scalable dashboards, semantic models, curated data marts, and self-service reporting solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in business intelligence development, dimensional data modeling, SQL optimization, and dashboard design using modern BI platforms. This role requires both technical expertise and strong business understanding to ensure consistent, reliable, and scalable analytics across the organization. Responsibilities Improve dashboard performance, data refresh efficiency, and query execution times Troubleshoot reporting and data performance issues Ensure scalability and maintainability of BI solutions Reporting Governance & Standards Standardize metrics and reporting definitions across departments Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reporting quality standards Implement BI development best practices and documentation standards Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and dashboard validation activities Collaboration & Support Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business processes Partner with data engineers to ensure reliable and high-quality data pipelines Provide support and enhancements for existing dashboards and reporting solutions Train and support business users on self-service reporting capabilities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field 3+ years of experience in BI development, analytics engineering, or business intelligence solutions Strong experience developing dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions Advanced SQL skills and experience optimizing analytical queries Experience with dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Required Technical Skills Business Intelligence & Reporting Power BI and/or Tableau Web-based dashboard development Self-service reporting platforms Data & Modeling SQL Dimensional modeling Data marts Semantic/business modeling KPI and metrics design Preferred Additional Skills Experience with data warehouse/lakehouse environments Familiarity with dbt or analytics engineering workflows Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes Experience with DAX, Tableau calculations, or similar analytical languages Understanding of data governance and reporting standards Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise BI environments Experience working with cross-functional business teams Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms Experience with performance tuning for large-scale reporting environments Understanding of financial, operational, or executive reporting Key Competencies Business intelligence development Data visualization and storytelling Analytical thinking Data modeling and KPI design Attention to detail and data accuracy Cross-functional collaboration Problem-solving and performance optimization Equal Employment Opportunity Pay: From $95,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Work Location: In person J-18808-Ljbffr
