Area of coverage will include all of Southern CA.About the CompanyMicrobot Medical is a commercial stage cutting-edge medical device endovascular robotic company, seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to join our expanding team.We are on a mission to redefine endovascular procedures with the LIBERTY Endovascular Robotic System, a remote, single-use robotic system for endovascular procedures, currently approved for peripheral procedures. Across the three spaces of the endovascular market which includes peripheral, coronary and neurovascular, it is one of the largest markets with clear unmet needs, but still with minimal penetration of robotics. LIBERTY is designed to redefine the endovascular surgical robotics marketplace by overcoming many obstacles that hinder the adoption of other capital intensive robotic systems by eliminating the large capital footprint, their initial cost, the add-on expenses associated with them which includes special infrastructure and services, and position LIBERTY as a system that is easy to use, requires short learning curve, and has the potential to add value for all stakeholders.About the RoleAs we continue to grow our commercial footprint, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to support the Southern California market. The Area Sales Manager (ASM) plays a critical role in the successful commercialization and market adoption of the Liberty Robotic System. This is a high-impact, field-based sales role responsible for driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and delivering exceptional clinical and procedural support.As an ASM, you will work closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to execute territory strategies, achieve sales quotas and MBOs, and help shape the future of robotic surgical interventions. You will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), supporting clinical trial activity, and bringing critical feedback from the field to help iterate our product and go-to-market strategies.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic startup environment and engage in a variety of tasks, fostering professional development and personal fulfillment.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesDrive sales of the Liberty Robotic System within an assigned territory, meeting or exceeding quota and performance targets.Execute strategic territory plans aligned with company goals, adapting as necessary to support evolving commercial priorities and market feedback.Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospital staff, administrators, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Support and coordinate clinical trial activities and case observations with internal clinical, marketing, and regulatory teams.Provide hands-on procedural and product expertise in the field, acting as a trusted partner to customers before, during, and after cases.Collect, document, and relay customer feedback and product performance data to inform product improvements and marketing messaging.Collaborate with internal teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where roles evolve quickly, and flexibility is key.Responsible for product demonstrations, evaluations, VAC preparation, and training sessions with prospective customers.Contribute to a strong team culture grounded in integrity, accountability, collaboration, and trust.Maintain CRM records, activity logs, forecasts, and reports in a timely and accurate manner.Travel daily within your assigned territory to meet performance and sales goals and to support customers.Attend company dinners and events.Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time, within your scope of practice.Travel RequirementsHave a valid drivers' license and access to a reliable vehicle.Have a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.QualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required; Life Sciences or Business focus preferred.5+ years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in endovascular, interventional and disposable devices.Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas in a competitive, technical sales environment.Strong clinical acumen with the ability to discuss detailed procedural workflows and anatomy.Must meet all hospital credentialing and vendor compliance requirements necessary to gain and maintain access to healthcare facilities and procedural environments, including background checks, immunizations, and training certifications.Experience supporting cases in the OR, Cath Lab, or IR suite is highly preferred.Experience working in a startup or early-stage company environment is a major plus.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a bias toward action and adaptability.Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; thrives in a "build-as-we-go" culture.Willing and able to travel extensively within the territory and occasionally nationwide.CompensationAnnual on target earning: 300kWhy Join Microbot Medical?Be part of a mission-driven team redefining surgical robotic procedures and care.Early-stage commercial opportunity with significant career growth potential.Collaborative, agile, and supportive team culture.J-18808-Ljbffr
