Our private pay structure enables us to operate beyond the restrictions of insurance companies so that we can provide that services that are necessary to help our clients truly reach their full potential.Position Overview:We are seeking a compassionate, high-energy OTP to join our team. You will work directly with our members, helping them improve their strength, balance, endurance, and overall mobility. Applicants must be able to effectively and independently manage group sessions up to 4 people (Individuals engaged in different activities simultaneously). At BIM, you will apply your clinical knowledge and skills to deliver personalized training tailored to each client. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping seniors and desires to operate outside the limiting restrictions that insurance applies!Key Responsibilities:Implement interventions based on members' personal goalsMonitor members' progress and grade/adapt as necessaryComplete daily notes and monthly progress reports in a timely mannerEffectively run small groups and individual sessionsDemonstrate excitement to expand knowledge and learn new skillsEffectively recommend and educate members on adaptive equipment, energy conservation techniques, and compensatory strategiesPerform standardized assessments such as MMT, 6MWT, and BBSDemonstrate excellent time management skills.Manage a large caseload scheduleQualifications:Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program or a master's degree in occupational therapy.Current state licensure as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistantMinimum 2 years of experience working with senior populations.Must be able to independently and confidently run groups of 4 (Individuals engaged in different activities simultaneously)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to develop creative and engaging interventionsCompassionate, patient, and dedicated to enhancing quality of lifeAbility to problem solve while treatingBenefits:Free continuing education opportunitiesIRAOpportunity for future career advancement while working with an exciting, fast-growing private practice.Ability to practice without the associated insurance restrictions.Less documentation than typical therapy settings.Supportive team environment$33 hour starting wage.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting your experience and passion for working with seniors.
