Barista Customer Service
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth operations within our café setting.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their orders, ensuring a positive experience.
Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the café area, adhering to food handling protocols.
Engage with customers to promote sales and provide information about menu items, including coffee offerings.
Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Experience
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a café or food service environment.
Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
Barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation is highly desirable.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail calculations.
Experience in food safety practices and food handling regulations is beneficial.

Pay: From $12.48 per hour
