Work will be at Columbus Air Force Base, near Columbus, Mississippi.Great Pay and Benefits for a Senior Civil EngineerCompetitive Salary of$135,000 - $150,000/yeardepending on qualifications and experience;11 annual paid holidays;Paid annual vacation and sick leave;Employee and family health, dental, prescription, and vision insurance with 75% of the premiums paid by the company;401(k) plan with 4% employer match vesting immediately;Employer paid short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance; andProfessional development assistance including memberships, professional licenses, and tuition reimbursements;Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties may include, but not be limited to, the following:Review and comment on Contractor submittals;Review and comment on Contractor questions;Review and comment on Contractor RFIs/RFCs;Make written recommendations to the COR;Compute time extensions;Assist in preparing change order documents;Make construction-minded determinations of practicability and meeting contract requirements;Request for equitable adjustment and claims;Make technical interpretations of drawings/specifications; andReview Contractor punch listsRequired Qualifications and Experience10+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer on complex multimillion dollar construction projects.Hold a current Professional Engineering license.Experience with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process, EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual, and the Resident Management System (RMS) is preferred.Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel;Position requires frequent and recurring construction inspections, which include walking, climbing, stooping, and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain; andCandidates must be US Citizens and must be able to obtain a government clearance.Job Type:Full-timePay Range:$135,000 - $150,000/year depending on qualifications and experienceLocation: Columbus Air Force Base, near Columbus, Mississippi.Working Hours:Normal Work Hours Monday Friday (anticipate 40 per week).About ATIATI, Inc.( ) is a full-service consulting firm with over 45 years of experience solving complex facility and program management, construction, and environmental challenges for government and private sector clients.
