If you enjoy solving complex business challenges, creating scalable financial processes, and helping drive strategic growth, we'd love to meet you.The OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and help build a best-in-class finance organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and providing timely reporting to support executive decision-making.As our Controller, you'll work closely with the executive leadership team and play an integral role in scaling a high-growth company operating at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and pharmacy.ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and executive reporting packages.Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations, and journal entries.Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and cash management.Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.Monitor revenue recognition, gross margins, COGS, and profitability by customer and product.Build financial dashboards and KPIs that support operational decision-making.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.Coordinate with external CPA firms on tax filings, annual reviews, and audits.Support acquisitions, due diligence, and financial integration activities.Improve accounting systems, automation, and reporting processes as the company scales.Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Sales, and Leadership to improve financial visibility and business performance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred).7+ years of progressive accounting experience.3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller leadership role.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting.Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar.Experience working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously improve processes.Preferred ExperienceHealthcare, pharmacy, telehealth, SaaS, or technology experience.Multi-entity accounting.Inventory or cost accounting.M&A integration and due diligence support.Financial systems implementation and automation.Who You AreWe're looking for someone who is:Highly accountable and detail-oriented.A builder who enjoys creating systems rather than simply maintaining them.Curious, analytical, and proactive.Comfortable working directly with C-suite and Founders, Collaborative and humble.Driven by continuous improvement.Excited to grow with a company that is scaling quickly.What We OfferCompetitive salaryPerformance-based bonus opportunityRemote work environmentSignificant opportunity for professional growth and advancementThe opportunity to help build one of the fastest-growing companies in healthcare technologyWhy Scripts?At Scripts, you'll have a direct impact on the future of healthcare.
