Job Description HireQuest is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented welder to join our dynamic team! We're looking for a dedicated professional who enjoys meeting challenges and exceeding client expectations.Key Responsibilities:Weld various components, including copper plumbing, structural beams, and pipelines.Stick 7018 & Fluxcore requiredOperate and oversee industrial welding machinery and ensure proper usage and maintenance.Maintain and repair welding equipment, ensuring all machinery is in optimal working condition.Inspect and assess welded surfaces, structures, and components for accuracy and quality.Follow and enforce strict safety standards, including wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.Perform welding tasks in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification from an accredited institution is a plus.At least 1 year of structural welding experience in a professional setting.Proficiency with welding machinery, electrical equipment, and hand tools.Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and designs.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Must be able to pass a Weld Test.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $28 per hourSchedule:50 Hours per weekMust have personal tools and reliable transportationCompany DescriptionAbout HireQuest DirectHireQuest Direct is a nationwide staffing company specializing in construction, light industrial, hospitality, and event staffing.
