The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, or general as required)Prepare and position patients for proceduresOperate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality imagesAnalyze images and provide preliminary findings to physiciansEnsure patient safety and comfort throughout proceduresMaintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS systemsFollow infection control and safety protocolsCollaborate with radiologists and healthcare teamsMaintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as neededRequirements:Active ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification requiredTexas state licensure (if applicable)Minimum 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experienceCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationStrong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and patient careAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environmentPreferred Qualifications:Prior travel or contract experienceMulti-specialty experience (e.g., abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular)Experience with PACS and EMR systemsStrong communication and patient care skills
