We operate in a fun and fast-paced environment and strive to provide quality service to our employees. Responsibilities: Leadership Supervising, leading, coaching, supporting and developing the payroll specialist Participating as a member of the HR leadership team Collaborating with executive leadership to continuously improve our benefits administration and payroll processes Benefits Administration Managing all administration of the company employee benefits programs, including 401(k) Assisting in the annual evaluation of the company benefits programs Working closely with benefits brokers and vendors Coordinating open enrollment activities Maintaining and administering the employee wellness program Ensuring annual reporting requirements and audits are completed Payroll Supervising and working closely with the payroll specialist to oversee the weekly payroll process for 450 employees Checking payroll accuracy prior to submission and serving as a back up to the payroll specialist Ensuring tax filings and year-end reporting is completed Leave Administration and Employee Relations Administering the leave management process for the company while ensuring compliance with the FMLA, ADA, and state/federal regulations Assisting with employee relations issues and investigations Performance Management Ensuring the set up, monitoring and completion of annual performance reviews Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field 5-8 years of experience in a generalist and/or specialist role with strong experience in benefits administration 1+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role Payroll administration experience HRIS experience (Dayforce/Ceridien a plus) SHRM or HRCI certification a plus Professionalism, including the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality Strong computer skills with proficiency working in Google Suites or Microsoft Office Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with internal customers and vendors Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and ability to manage time wisely Ability to supervise others and create a motivational environment We offer: Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Company paid life and AD&D insurance Supplemental insurance including life, accident, cancer and short-term disability Capitol City Produce is a family owned and operated wholesale produce distributor rooted in core values that create an incredible work environment and team culture.
