Description & RequirementsAs an intern at F orvis Mazars , you will gain valuable experiences that will help guide what you want to work in after graduation. You will work on client engagements like those assigned to our entry-level associates, gaining exposure to a variety of industries, and testing out your technical know-how . You will work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skillset.How you will contribute:Preparing tax returns involving complex issues and with a concentrated focus on corporate income tax compliancePreparing tax projections and other tax planning strategiesUsing research services to increase technical knowledge and provide valuable services to clientsParticipating in client meetings alongside F orvis Mazars partners and managersDelivering F orvis Mazars ' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clientsWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Effective time managementStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well with a team as well as independentlyProblem-solving attitudeWillingness to take initiativeClose attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and against deadlinesMinimum Qualifications:Pursuing an accounting or finance degreeSolid technical accounting or finance knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications:Eligible to sit for the CPA ExamMaintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)Applicants for positions with F orvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
