Location: Portland, Oregon Hours: M-F, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Reports to: Director of Development Salary: $63,869 - $83,030 annually *To be considered for this position, please follow the Application Instructions at the end of this job posting* Job Summary The Individual Donations + Major Gifts Manager is responsible for managing and growing our donor engagement and fundraising events. Essential Duties Manages and grows a portfolio of major donors and funders utilizing effective moves management practices for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Increases donor engagement and commitment to the organization through an active calendar of moves management including phone calls, personalized email communications, ongoing written contact, face-to-face visits and more. Acknowledges and tracks gifts from donors and coordinates additional donor recognition from the leadership when warranted. Collaborates with other development team members to develop and implement long-term fundraising strategies to increase and grow revenue streams. Works in partnership with members of the fiscal team to complete monthly reconciliations of all gifts entered into the donor and accounting database. Assists with logistics for fundraising and donor events including but not limited to the annual gala, 4K4Community Run, and Work Connections event. Supports the Board of Directors in fundraising efforts and leads board development related to individual donor fundraising. Maintains the donor database so it is up to date at all times. Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. Respectfully takes direction from supervisor(s). A variety of other development- and fundraising-related tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned. Experience/Education Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or 2-4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of moves management strategy, major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, events, individual donor stewardship, and in-kind giving. Experience utilizing Give Lively, Auctria Little Green Light, or other similar CRM programs Qualifications Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of employees or others.
