Estimator – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)Location: Houston, TX or Corpus Christi, TX (On-Site)Employment Type: Full-Time (Salary + Bonus)OverviewWe are supporting an established electrical and industrial services contractor seeking an Estimator to support the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates across industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects.This role works closely with the Estimating Manager and project teams to build detailed estimates that reflect real-world execution, productivity, and project conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricingPerform quantity takeoffs from drawings and models using tools such as Bluebeam and NavisworksSupport development of conceptual budgets and bid packagesCoordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and scope alignmentAssist in developing execution plans, labor curves, and project assumptions during the bid phaseIdentify risks, gaps, and scope inconsistencies within bid documentsSupport estimate reviews and bid submissions to ensure accuracy and completenessParticipate in estimate handoffs to project teamsQualifications3–8+ years of estimating experience within Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) or related construction scopesExperience supporting industrial, energy, or large-scale construction projects preferredProficiency in Excel and takeoff tools such as Bluebeam (Navisworks a plus)Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field executionDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneouslyStrong communication and coordination skills
