Position Title: Early Childhood Assistant Teacher - Phoenix Day ProgramJob Summary:This role assists with classroom instruction, supervision, lesson planning, and care routines such as feeding, diapering, and health checks. The Assistant Teacher also helps maintain a clean classroom, communicates with parents, supports assessments, and works closely with the lead teacher to meet program and licensing standards.Hourly Pay Rate: $14.70Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9:30AM - 6:00PMLocation: Phoenix, AZRequired OrientationOur New Hire Orientation takes place during your first week of employment:Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM | HR Campus in Mesa, AZEarly release may be granted upon completion of all orientation requirements. Please note: orientation is not available during evenings or weekends.Qualifications:Education:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredExperience:Experience working with young children preferredResponsibilities:Assist in the education, supervision, and care of childrenAssist in planning and preparing the environment and activities for childrenAssist with classroom education, assessments and lesson planningWork directly with children in an instruction settingPrepare daily reports, health checks and documentation as required by the programEstablish and maintain a rapport with parentsWelcome and work with visitors and volunteersEnsure the safety of children at all timesClean up, diapering, potty training of children - if age appropriateServe meals and drinks to childrenCompliance Requirements:Must Be At Least 21 Years of AgeClass One Fingerprint Clearance CardDCS Central Registry Background CheckDrug ScreeningTB Test (Depending on Program)CPR/First Aid CertificationTherapeutic Options Training (Depending on Program)Valid Unrestricted Driver's LicenseCurrent Auto Liability Insurance39 Month Motor Vehicle RecordAdhere to all organizational policies, including the Code of Conduct, professional standards, and relevant regulations.We appreciate your interest in our organization.
