Data Analyst
Position Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's data integration, business intelligence, reporting, and automation initiatives. This position develops, maintains, and supports data solutions that enable accurate reporting, efficient business processes, and informed decision-making.
The successful candidate will work with SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Python, REST APIs, webhooks, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related technologies to integrate systems, validate data, automate processes, and develop reporting solutions. This position will initially focus on supporting existing systems and projects, with responsibilities expanding as technical skills, knowledge, and proficiency are developed and demonstrated. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to our Phoenix location. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of data integration solutions between internal systems, cloud services, and third-party applications.
Develop and maintain REST API and webhook integrations.
Create and maintain Python scripts for data ingestion, transformation, validation, automation, and file processing.
Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.
Develop and support Microsoft Power Apps that improve operational efficiency and streamline business processes.
Write, test, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries.
Analyze, validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data from multiple source systems.
Develop, publish, troubleshoot and maintain Power BI semantic models, datasets, dashboards, and reports.
Develop DAX calculations.
Perform testing and validation of integrations, applications, reports, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
Monitor automated processes, scheduled jobs, API integrations, and report refreshes, investigating and resolving failures as needed.
Work with structured and semi-structured data including SQL tables, JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel files.
Utilize requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Document system integrations, workflows, data mappings, business rules, and technical procedures.
Collaborate with other IT staff to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
Participate in software implementation projects, upgrades, testing, and ongoing application support.
Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience writing SQL queries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Experience with Python.
Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data services.
Experience with ETL/ELT processes or data integration.
Experience with Git or Azure DevOps.
Experience supporting ERP or enterprise business systems.
