,Job description Job Summary: Notre Dame High School seeks to hire an experienced Football Coach for the ND Boys Varsity 8 Man Football team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, particularly in football, and a dedication to developing athletes both on and off the field. Duties include, but are not limited to: Job description NOTRE DAME HIGH SCHOOL Athletic Program seeks to hire a Boys 8 Man Football Coach at the Varsity Level. Minimum qualifications include First Aid/CPR, AED/CPR Certification, DASA Certification, Concussion Management Certification, and successful fingerprint clearance/background check. All applicants must have or be in pursuit of appropriate credentials and certifications. The ideal candidate should have previous football or related coaching experience, strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies, can work with athletes of all skill levels, and have excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Selecting the members of the team Teach proper techniques, strategies, and rules of the game Motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential Planning and scheduling a regular program of practice Provide constructive feedback to players to help them develop their skills Attend league, district, school staff meetings, and sports awards program Oversee the safety conditions of practice and games Complete all required paperwork Explain and enforce eligibility rules, training rules, and regulations Assume responsibility for uniforms & equipment Remain compliant with all NYSPHSAA and NYS Regulations Provide game results to local media contacts and weekly summaries regarding games to the ND PR & Marketing Department as appropriate.
