Transportation Planner

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Transportation Planner at LuftCar. The Transportation Planner will oversee mobility strategy development, route optimization, and transportation system design tailored to our modular air and city vehicles. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis, forecasting travel demands, collaborating with cross-functional teams on logistics and efficiency, and creating reports to guide planning and operational decisions. Additionally, the Transportation Planner will stay informed of industry trends and assist in ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainability goals are met. Qualifications Proficiency in transportation planning, route optimization, and mobility systems designAnalytical skills in data interpretation, forecasting, and geographic information systems (GIS)Strong knowledge of logistics, traffic engineering, and urban planning principlesExperience in sustainability practices and familiarity with clean energy solutions is advantageousExcellent communication, teamwork, and project management skillsBachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with diverse teamsExperience with advanced transportation technologies and systems is a plus
