As a JavaScript Developer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement calculated fields in SAP LeanIX using JavaScript to derive meaningful portfolio insights from architecture dataBuild and maintain LeanIX automations using JavaScript to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and support governance processesDevelop custom reports using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and GraphQL to deliver actionable visualizations and insights for stakeholdersCreate, test, and optimize GraphQL queries to retrieve and transform LeanIX workspace data efficiently for reporting and automation use casesCollaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and automation requirements and translate them into technical solutionsEnsure custom code is performant, maintainable, secure, and aligned with platform constraints and best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to calculations, automations, and custom reports in the LeanIX environmentSupport deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of custom LeanIX extensions and reporting componentsDocument technical designs, code, and support procedures to enable maintainability and knowledge transferContinuously identify opportunities to improve data quality, portfolio transparency, and user experience within LeanIXQualificationsProficiency in JavaScript, including modern ES6+ concepts and best practicesExperience building custom logic and code-based solutions in SAP LeanIX or similar enterprise platformsHands-on experience with GraphQL for querying, filtering, and transforming dataExperience developing front-end components or applications using ReactWorking knowledge of TypeScript for scalable, maintainable application developmentExperience creating analytical, operational, or portfolio-focused reports and dashboardsStrong problem-solving, debugging, and testing skillsAbility to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver usable solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical solutions clearlyBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceJavaScript development, SAP LeanIX customization, calculated fields, automations, GraphQL querying, React development, TypeScript, custom reporting, enterprise architecture data modeling, troubleshooting, stakeholder collaboration, and technical documentationPreferred QualificationsExperience with the SAP LeanIX Reporting Library and Custom Report Tools, which support React/TypeScript-based report development and workspace upload workflowsUnderstanding of enterprise architecture concepts, application portfolios, technology standards, and lifecycle managementFamiliarity with API integration patterns, JSON data structures, and web-based application developmentExperience with version control systems such as Git and modern development workflowsKnowledge of test-driven development, code review practices, and release managementExperience working in agile delivery environments and managing work through backlogs, user stories, and iterative deliveryAbility to optimize data queries and front-end performance for responsive reporting experiencesFamiliarity with platform limitations and coding best practices for LeanIX calculations, including self-contained JavaScript logic and technical field referencesThe salary range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000 or the hourly equivalent.
