Environmental Underwriter

JCW is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialty insurance carrier seeking an Underwriter to join its Environmental team. This is a hybrid opportunity with strong exposure to both new business production and portfolio management within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The role offers the chance to work closely with brokers while underwriting specialized risks and contributing to a profitable, expanding book of business.Key Responsibilities:Underwrite new and renewal environmental risks, including evaluating submissions, determining appetite fit, and ensuring pricing aligns with profitability targetsManage broker relationships by delivering responsive service, providing coverage guidance, and supporting deal execution from quote through bindMaintain and service a book of business, including policy changes, endorsements, and cross-functional coordination to resolve underwriting issuesQualifications:2+ years of underwriting experience in environmental lines
