Our expert team of experienced physicians are board certified in sleep medicine and focus on disease prevention and management.The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for documenting medical history, taking patient vital signs and ensuring proper data and labs are available to support the physician. The MA is responsible for preparing the exam room and coordinating efficient patient flow with the front office staff. The Fusion Sleep trained-Medical Assistant provides answers to patients’ questions regarding equipment fittings and supply needs and provides best practice solutions.The ideal candidate will be service-minded, confident, adaptable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.What You'll DoAssisting with physician and patients needsRetrieving compliance data from various sourcesProcessing prescription refill requestsResponding to patient emails and callsAccurately documenting system tasks pending and completedResponsible for completing daily patient intake and triage for both in-clinic and telemedicine patients.Actively participates in corporate innovation, change management and identification and implementation of industry best practices.QualificationsCertified/Registered Medical Assistant requiredSleep Medicine or Respiratory Care experience preferredMinimum of six months experience in fast-paced health care settingCare Cloud Practice Management preferredEMR system experience requiredAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksStrict attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-throughExceptional customer service and communications skillsDetail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills and a desire to acquire new skillsPossess the ability to collaborate in a team environment or work independentlyComfortable working with various software applications at one time
