Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance
Must have experience managing conveyor systems, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance.Must have a high school diploma• Technicians should have electrical, control and mechanical skills.• There is mandatory weekend overtime so applicants must be flexible to this.• We are looking for 3.5 – 5 years of real world experience• The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for general facility maintenance and assisting other facility maintenance staff members with all maintenance activities as directed.Responsibilities:• Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.• Maintenance Tasks: Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical repairs.• Repairs: Conduct minor and major repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, controls, HVAC, and mechanical systems.• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions.• Equipment Management: Install and set up new equipment, machinery, and maintain an inventory of repair equipment and supplies.• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.• Documentation: Document all installation, repair, and maintenance activities.Experience:• High School diploma or GED,• 2-3 years of relevant experience, required.Knowledge and Skills:• Performs general facility maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping on automated conveyors systems.• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds, as required.• Maintain MHE batteries, as required. • Uses judgment to plan, perform, troubleshoot, and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks.• May be required to work on off shift and/or weekends and must be available for call in activity.Preferred skills:• Basic electrical knowledge of 12 volt, 24 volt AC/DC power• Basic electrical knowledge of 120V/208V power• Basic electrical knowledge of 277V/480V power• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook• Basic knowledge of Work Order process (SAP)
