Software Engineering Program Manager
For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineering Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will oversee a portfolio of technical programs that support software engineering priorities and broader organizational goals. You will partner closely with global engineering teams and senior leaders to keep work aligned, visible, and moving forward. The position calls for strong judgment, clear executive communication, and a data-driven approach to tracking progress, risks, and outcomes.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of technical programs aligned with organizational goals Track program status and risks, escalating blockers with recommendations Create executive-ready reports and dashboards on key metrics Facilitate alignment among global engineering teams and senior leaders Communicate ideas persuasively to influence decisions and outcomes
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience managing technical programs in software engineering Strong understanding of software development processes, including sprints and releases Proficient in data analysis and metric tracking to identify risks Excellent collaboration skills with global engineering teams Ability to make informed decisions on complex issues independently Experience delivering executive presentations and reports Familiarity with AI tools and workflows
