Come join us!Our Developer Relations team sits at the center of how developers experience Descope. From first integration to production rollout, DevRel works closely with the community to ensure developers can successfully adopt, implement, and scale authentication using Descope.This is an engineer first role. You will work hands on with developers, build real integrations, create technical content, and influence product direction based on direct feedback from the field.What You’ll DoEngage with developers to understand their use cases, challenges, and goals, and provide hands on technical guidance throughout the integration journeyLead implementation efforts and POCs, helping customers design, deploy, and troubleshoot Descope within their applicationsPartner with Product and Engineering to translate community feedback into actionable product improvementsCreate high quality technical content including documentation, guides, sample apps, videos, and demosContribute to open source projects and build integrations across different platforms and frameworksPlan and deliver developer focused events such as workshops, webinars, hackathons, and conference talksManage and engage across developer communication channels including Slack, forums, and public communitiesSupport product launches by enabling the developer community with clear, practical, and usable resourcesWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Solutions Engineering, Developer Experience Engineer or a similar customer facing technical roleStrong software engineering background with hands on coding experienceProficiency in one or more languages such as JavaScript, Python, or GoExperience working directly with developers on integrations, implementations, or technical onboardingSolid understanding of authentication and authorization concepts including modern AuthN and AuthZ approachesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to different audiencesExperience building technical content such as documentation, demos, or tutorialsComfortable working cross functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teamsNice to HaveExperience with developer communities, forums, or open source contributionsBackground in identity, security, or authentication platformsExperience speaking at conferences or running technical eventsBenefitsHealth, sorted: Medical, dental, and vision with strong coverage and flexible HSA and FSA optionsFeel good, actually: Mental health support and wellness resources when you need themFuture you will thank you: 401k plan with employer support to help you build long termWe’ve got your back: Company paid life and disability insurance for extra peace of mindMore money in your pocket: Tax advantaged benefits for healthcare and dependent careLife happens & we support it: Family planning, fertility support, maternity leave, and lifestyle perksStay connected: Monthly internet allowance to support your work from anywhereLunch is on us: Paid lunches when you’re working from the officeKeep growing: Budget and opportunities for personal development, including courses and conferences
