Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. The Director of Operations will manage all Manufacturing at our HQ Location and their support functions, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Engineering. Establish and implement strategies that optimize processes and increase efficiency on the manufacturing floor. Work closely with other top executives, including the CEO and CFO, to ensure manufacturing strategies are aligned with overall business goals. Draft and implement plans for production and optimize the allocation of resources and control the Supply Chain. Requirements Foster a culture of safety, employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization. Direct and manage overall business operations including strategic planning, capital project development, resource coordination, and staff engagement. Develop and implement effective business strategies to optimize operational efficiency and productivity. Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives aligned with corporate objectives. Oversee and manage operational P&L, cash flow, and budget performance, ensuring alignment with financial goals. Develop and monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and accountability. Provide leadership to department heads, ensuring clarity of expectations and consistent execution of operational goals. Ensure adherence to quality standards and lead initiatives to eliminate or redesign products that do not meet expectations. Lead, coach, and manage cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and achieve performance targets. Prepare and present reports and annual operating plans, including manufacturing and supply chain, to executive leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to align strategies with market trends and business goals. Required Competencies Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, including overseeing production, quality control, and supply chain management. Strong leadership skills to develop and execute strategic plans, drive process improvements, and maximize operational efficiency. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and optimize productivity Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and provide effective leadership to a diverse workforce. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required; MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment. Experience in blown film, paper and or cast extrusion manufacturing preferred. Strong understanding of financial and operational metrics, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Skilled in contract negotiations and vendor management, both domestic and international. Results-driven with a focus on efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement.
