Sr Network Engineer (contract)

Must be United States Citizen, and "Clearable"Pay depends on level of experience, educaiton, whether possess Active DOD Clearance, what certifications achieved (e.g. Security+, CCNE) and extent of experience in the "pluses" withSTIGs, HAIPE/TACLANE, COMSEC/CRYPTO equipment, Tactical/military Common Data Link (CDL) and ANW2, (MIL) SATCOM equipment, etc.REQUIRED:• Bachelor of Science in STEM discipline with 8 years of experience;OR 6 years of relevant experience with a Master (MS) degree;OR 12 years relevant network engineer experience if no degree• Exp with network design, architecture, specifications, and equipment selection.• Understand IP4, IPv6 network design, incl. IP sub-netting & protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.• Understand network device configuration and troubleshooting (ideally, Cisco IOS/IOS-XE).• Understand advanced features like GRE, IPSEC, IP quality-of-service, VLANs, and multicast.• Familiar with network management protocols, like SNMP, SSH, syslog, RADIUS/TACACS.PREFERRED (NOT Required):Experience with ANY of the following is a "nice to have" but NOT required -• DoD 8570 Security certification such as Sec+, CASP, CISSP, or equivalent.• CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.• Network management apps: Splunk, Firepower Management Center (FMC), Cisco ISE.• Exposure to the Risk Management Framework, security controls, STIGs.• Windows, Linux, and VMWare configuration and troubleshooting.• HAIPE/TACLANE and other military COMSEC/CRYPTO equipment• Tactical/military radio networks, like Common Data Link (CDL) and ANW2.• (MIL) SATCOM equipment and services.• Cisco Unified Communications / VoIP and VTC• Cisco Modelling Labs (CML) or Virtual Internet Routing Lab (VIRL).• MS Office tools, including PowerPoint and Visio
