This position requires excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.RESPONSIBILITIES, Other Duties May Be Assigned.Manage AWS ECS and EKSCreate infrastructure/pipelines for new services (SpringBoot, Python, Angular)Deploy services on DEV/UAT/PROD environments.Create and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with TerraformManage the installation and configuration of solutions.Troubleshoot failure cases on Development/UAT and Production environmentsMonitor platform health and metrics using AWS CloudWatch and New Relic Document utilized approach and solutionParticipate in discussions about solutions to support developer applications and needsParticipate in release management processDeploy code and troubleshoot any issue that arisesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experienceFive or more years of DevOps related experience, with a focus on Microservices deployment and maintenanceExtensive AWS experiencePrior experience working with Linux, Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes, AnsibleExperience with configuration and support of Terraform and GitHub ActionsExperience with the following technologies: Postgres, Cassandra, Scripts (bash, Groovy, Python), nginx, Tomcat, AWS CodeArtifact, LDAP, KafkaExcellent technical, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and documentation skillsKnowledge of portal software, design, and developmentUS Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contractsPreferred QualificationsAWS Solutions Architect Professional CertificationAWS DevOps Engineer Professional CertificationKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills (communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, etc.) when dealing with internal and/or external audiences at all levels of managementUse organizational skills to determine prioritization and appropriate multitasking.Focus on scope, tone, and quality of processes and their respective documentation, as well as the associated goals, priorities, deadlines, and weaknesses.Ability to work independently, with supervision, on a project of varying complexity.TOTAL REWARDSThis role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending and HSA accounts; paid holidays; paid time off; paid volunteer days; employee assistance program; tuition assistance; parental leave; military leave assistance; QTS scholarship for dependents; wellness program, and other company benefits.This position is Bonus eligible.We conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
