Our dedicated team of professionals is passionate about protecting and advancing the rights of our clients.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Trial Attorney to join our Columbia, MO office, though location is flexible based on experience. The Trial Attorney will manage a diverse caseload, including preparing and filing motions, conducting depositions, representing clients in court, and participating in trials. The position requires working closely with clients, legal teams, and courts on civil litigation and civil rights matters. Salary commensurate with experience, with bonus opportunities and a competitive benefits package. Qualifications5+ years experience, with civil litigation experience preferredExperience preparing motions and handling other court filingsProficiency in conducting depositions and pre-trial discoveryTrial experience preferred, but will consider applicants with civil background without trial experienceExceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skillsValue teamwork and a collegiate atmosphereLicensed to practice law in MissouriStrong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environmentExperience in employment law, civil rights, or discrimination cases is a plus
