DutiesProvides a full range of storekeeping services involving quality control inspection, receipt, storage and issuance of a variety of perishable foodstuffs for all hotel kitchen operations. Receives incoming shipments of food, some of which have been reviewed by the hotel warehouse staff. Inventories and orders all direct issue items such as produce, dairy products, breads, etc. Completes receiving documents and moves to storage areas. Identifies and rotates stock ensuring special storage requirements have been met. Issues materials in accordance with established procedures. Verifies inventory and shipping documents, independently prepares shipping documents and related reports. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays.
