Clinical Director (LCSW or LMSW) - Behavioral Health - Staten Island, NY (Onsite) - Full Time - $100,000-$115,000 Per YearTitle: Clinical Director (LCSW or LMSW) - Behavioral HealthLocation: Staten Island, NY (Onsite)Employment Type: Full TimeCompensationPay Range: $100,000-$115,000 Per YearOverview A well-established behavioral health organization serving individuals through residential and outpatient programs is seeking a Clinical Director (LCSW or LMSW) to join its leadership team. This role oversees clinical services, program operations, compliance, and staff performance across multiple programs. The Clinical Director will drive accountability, ensure regulatory excellence, and elevate the quality and consistency of care across the organization. This role is ideal for a leader who has managed multiple OASAS programs and is comfortable owning both compliance and program performance. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership: Oversee clinical services across residential and outpatient programs Supervise Program Directors, clinical supervisors, and counseling staff (LMSW, CASAC, etc.) Provide guidance on complex cases and clinical decision-making Ensure timely, accurate documentation and adherence to treatment standardsOperations & Program Oversight Lead day-to-day program operations to ensure efficient service delivery Align staffing, workflows, and service models across programs Identify gaps and implement improvements to drive performance and accountability Ensure strong coordination across clinical, compliance, and administrative teamsStaff Management & Performance Supervise, evaluate, and develop Program Directors and clinical staff Set clear expectations, productivity targets, and accountability measures Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts Address performance issues and implement corrective actions as neededCompliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure full compliance with OASAS, OMIG, Medicaid, and other regulatory bodies Maintain audit readiness and oversee documentation standards across programs Lead corrective action plans (CAPs) in response to audits or deficiencies Participate in compliance and quality improvement initiativesQuality & Program Improvement Monitor program performance, outcomes, and service quality Establish and track KPIs across all programs Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data, audits, and outcomesFinancial & Operational Performance Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost control efforts Align staffing models and service delivery with financial goals Monitor census, utilization, and revenue targetsLeadership & Strategy Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team Contribute to strategic planning, program expansion, and growth initiatives Represent the organization with regulators, funders, and community partners Prepare and present updates to executive leadership and board stakeholdersQualifications Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker - required Advanced CASAC (CASAC-Advanced) - preferred 5+ years of leadership experience in behavioral health settings Direct experience overseeing multiple OASAS programs strongly preferred Proven track record managing program operations, compliance, and staff performance Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, audits, and documentation standards Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skillsWhy This Opportunity High-impact leadership role with oversight across multiple programs Direct influence on clinical quality, compliance, and operational performance Opportunity to build, mentor, and shape high-performing teams Mission-driven organization serving vulnerable populationsPlease email: kaseyjo.arndt@hcmmi.com#INDTWO26-09671
