Orthopedics - Spine Physician Assistant

An established orthopedic practice in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. Work alongside a fellowship trained surgeon specializing in general orthopedics and spine. Candidates with orthopedic or spine experience will be considered first.Responsibilities:Full-time permanent positionMonday-Friday scheduleClinic based onlyNO call or weekendsConduct thorough patient evaluations and assessmentsDiagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory testsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patientsPrescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitationMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededPerform injectionsQualifications:Virginia State LicenseKnowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminologyStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectivelyProficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systemsBenefits:Competitive base salaryHealth insurancePTO, sick days, holidaysCME allowanceNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
