Heat Treat - Metal Working Senior Operations
Milacron is looking for a Heat Treat - Metal Working Senior Operations to join our team in Mt Orab, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring heat treat furnaces and quenching processes to ensure metal components meet engineering, quality, and safety standards.Work You'll Do:Set up, operate, and monitor heat treat furnaces and quenching processes for steel and alloy componentsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine correct temperatures and cycle timesPerform hardness testing and basic metallurgical inspections to verify compliance with specificationsPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on heat treat equipment to ensure safe and efficient operationDocument heat treatment cycles, test results, and process data in support of quality and traceability requirementsQualifications:Must Have:High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experienceHands-on experience operating heat treatment equipment, including furnaces and quenching processesWorking knowledge of metallurgy, hardness testing, and heat treat principlesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsBasic computer skills for documentation and data entryAbility to work onsite on 3rd shift (11pm-7am)Commitment to OSHA, ISO, and company safety standardsNice to Have:2+ years of experience in heat treating, metallurgy, or a related manufacturing environmentTechnical certification or formal training in heat treatment or metallurgyWho we are:Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry.
