Position OverviewThe Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner within the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, providing dedicated HR support aligned to organizational priorities, leadership, and workforce needs. This role sits within the Human Resources team and is responsible for delivering high-impact HR solutions across talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.The HRBP works closely with business leadership to align people strategies with organizational objectives, support a high-performing and engaged workforce, and ensure consistency with broader HR policies and practices.ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary HR partner to assigned business units.Partner with leadership to develop and execute workforce and organizational strategies.Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and organizational development.Lead performance management cycles, including goal setting, feedback, and annual reviews.Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture.Advise leaders on compensation, promotions, and workforce planning decisions.Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies.Support change management initiatives and organizational transitions.Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development).QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.10+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HRBP.Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex HR issues.Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.Experience supporting mission-driven or nonprofit organizations is a plus.The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors.
