Technical Lead (Databricks)

Role: Tech Lead (Databricks)Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)Job Description: As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers to design, develop, & maintain Java based applications that support the TLC workstream. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, product owner, scrum master & SMEs to understand requirements & deliver high quality solutionsResponsibilities:• Lead a team of developers & support testing team members to design, develop, validate and maintain applications• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders & SMEs to understand requirements and translate them into solution that meet the acceptance criteria• Showcase strong analytical skills for reverse engineering existing systems in order to map current state processes• Be a thought leader to bring in a perspective while participating in technical design meetings to offer design & implementation suggestions• Experience with Open System development skills such as Java, JEE (HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, Struts), Microservices (Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST, JSON), SpringBatch, JUnit, React, SQL are required.• Strong experience with API development (with knowledge of latest features)• Working knowledge & hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture• Working experience with Project Management tools & techniques• Working knowledge with message streaming infrastructure – Kafka (Nice to have)Key Skillsets:• At least ten years of technical experience with solid analytical skills in the roles of techno-functional lead• Technical expertise with Java FSD technologies (Java, SpringBoot, Microservices Architecture, SQL, ReactJS, Kafka, Azure)• Working knowledge of some of the legacy technologies like JSP, Servlets, Ajax, JavaScript etc.• Solid familiarity with a variety of log tracing tools like Splunk, Dynatrace etc.• In-depth understanding of relational database systems (Oracle, DB2)• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsMust Have:• Minimum 3yrs Databricks experience.EEO:“Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
