Maintenance Technician - Fencing

OPEN UNTIL FILLED Estimated Start Date: Immediately Location: Maintenance and Facilities - West Pasco, 11835 Treebreeze Drive, New Port Richey, FL 34654 Specialty: Fencing School Related Personnel (SRP) 245 Days Per Year Full Time, Benefit Eligible JOB SUMMARY Responsible for performing highly diversified craft trade activities with a focus on Fencing under general supervision. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Seven (7) years previous experience and working knowledge in all phases of fencing, chain link, wooden fence, some welding a plus, emphasis on chain link fence. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or Vocational Degree from an accredited institution Two years’ experience of a skilled trade or general building maintenance OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver Plan. Driver’s license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
