The Hardware Engineer V will be part of an engineering team developing extensive power electronics and battery systems expertise. The Hardware Engineer V will participate in the development of electrical architecture and design, integration and debugging of new electrical hardware and validation of the design in a structured engineering environment. The qualified individual will be responsible for documentation of the design changes, supporting the transition of new designs into manufacturing, as well as solving complex engineering problems associated with new product introduction. This role will work onsite at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon, and reports to the Technical Engineering Manager.Hardware Engineer V Job DutiesManage the electrical requirements and specificationsDocument the design architecture and formal design synthesisModel and simulate the performance of electrical circuitsElectrical schematic capture and BOM maintenanceComponent selection to meet requirements for uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS) for industrial applicationsWork with the mechanical engineering department to develop circuit designs to support required functionality and meet requirements for size, weight, and powerPCB layout for EMI/EMC compliance and manufacturability.
