Summer Hourly MaintenancePerforms general maintenance and repair of Juneau School District buildings and properties. Essential duties include ground labor, safely operating equipment, and performing grounds keeping duties.Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, prior experience working with children, and a valid Alaska driver's license. Preferred knowledge of safety standards and grounds keeping equipment. Ability to effectively communicate, operate a computer, maintain working relationships, and work independently or as a team member.Compensation is $25.60 per hour for up to 37.5 hours per week for up to 30 days from June 1 - August 14, 2026.Selected hire will be fingerprinted at applicant's expense and fingerprints forwarded to the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI for a criminal background check.About the Juneau School DistrictLocated in Alaska's beautiful capital, the Juneau School District serves roughly 4,000 students in PreK12 across 14 schools.The district offers six elementary schools, one middle school, and one standard high school.
