This role is suitable for professionals with at least 1 year of experience, including first-time travelers.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nProvide treatment for various cancer types, including but not limited to prostate cancer, benign brain tumors, and stereotactic radiosurgery.\nUtilize equipment such as ARIA, TrueBeam, and Vision RT for patient treatments.\nAssist in performing procedures with adherence to radiation safety protocols.\nWork collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including MDs and RNs, throughout the workday.\nFloat between two clinical sites as needed to meet patient care requirements.\n\n\nQualifications:\n\nMinimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.\nRequired Certifications: \n\nARRT T (Radiation Therapy)\nBLS (Basic Life Support)\n \n \nPreferred Skills: \n\nExperience with adult outpatient settings.\nProficiency in IMRT, beam modifying/positioning, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging.\n \n \n\n\nWork Environment:\n\nAverage daily patient census: 110 patients across 3 linacs and one CT simulator.\nThe role requires the use of isolation precautions and adherence to PPE protocols.\nOngoing opportunities to collaborate with interdisciplinary support services.\n\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nOrientation hours: 8 hours.\nScrubs: Royal Blue (not provided).\nRTO (Requests for Time Off): Maximum 7 days allowed after booking.\nNo weekend or holiday shifts required.\n\n\nThis opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals looking to expand their experience and provide quality care in a supportive and dynamic environment.Modern Healthcare Solutions Job ID #36799932.
