Program Support Specialist - Front Desk

Program Support Specialist/Front Desk (Full-time) Applications are being accepted for a full-time Support Specialist position at Operation Threshold. This position provides support to all Operation Threshold programs and works as part of a team that often serves as the first person to greet our clients. As part of that team, this position answers incoming calls, assists with intake services, and serves to inform our clients about all of the benefits and services that Operation Threshold can provide. This is a 40 hour/wk (M-Th 10hr days) position eligible for full agency benefits (including Health, Dental, IPERS, paid Vacation/Sick/Holiday leave, 3-day weekends, and more) and has an hourly wage of $15.00/hr. No nights, weekends, or holidays. Well qualified applicants will have one year post-secondary education/training and two years clerical/intake or related experience. Must have exceptional attendance/dependability and excellent customer service, telephone, organizational, and administrative skills. Must possess good computer skills, maintain confidentiality, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply.
