Quality Control Technician The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for County Prestress at our Burlington, WI location.Our Quality Control Technician ensures products meet company and regulatory standards by performing inspections, tests, and measurements throughout the production process. They document findings, identify defects or deviations, and work with production teams to resolve issues and maintain consistent product quality. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication are essential to success in this role.Job Duties:Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during production of materials and productsInspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of productionRecords observations and may make recommendations for improving processesFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industryRegularly observes the production process, including setup, casting, stripping, and storage of productWorks with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performanceManages housekeeping to ensure a safe workplaceWork Environment:Work in outdoor weather conditions.Work near moving machinery and equipment.Work in a noisy environment.Typical work hours/shifts: Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturdays. Daily working hours varies depending on work assignments and customer needs.Physical Requirements:Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequentlyCarrying/Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionallyStanding / Walking / ClimbingSquatting/Crouching/Kneeling/BendingPushing / Pulling / Reaching Above ShoulderExperience & Qualifications:Understanding of a manufacturing environment.Concrete plant and/or quality control experience is highly desired.Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.Solid math aptitude.Must have the ability to train and obtain technical certifications as directed and supported by the company.Ability to work independently.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.1-2 years of prior experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not required.The County Materials Family of Companies connects candidates with rewarding careers in concrete manufacturing, an industry that's growing faster than most.
