We are seeking a reliable and skilled Terminal Handler (Slot Machine Technician) to join our team.Position SummaryThe Terminal Handler is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of video gaming terminals (slot machines) across multiple locations. This role ensures machines are fully operational, compliant with Illinois Gaming Board regulations, and delivering optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and remove video gaming terminals (VGTs) at licensed establishmentsDiagnose and repair hardware, software, and network issuesPerform preventative maintenance and routine inspectionsRespond to service calls in a timely and professional mannerEnsure compliance with all Illinois Gaming Board regulationsMaintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and inventory trackingHandle cash boxes and assist with drop processes (as required)Coordinate with location staff and internal team membersMaintain uptime and minimize machine downtime across assigned routeAssist with new location setups and terminal upgradesQualificationsPrevious experience with slot machines, VGTs, or gaming equipment preferredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsBasic networking knowledge (routers, modems, connectivity)Ability to use diagnostic tools and softwareValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 75 lbs and work on feet for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to pass background check (required for gaming license)Preferred QualificationsExperience working with Illinois VGT systemsFamiliarity with Illinois Gaming Board compliance standardsTechnical certifications (electronics, IT, or similar)Experience in route-based service rolesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay ($20 - 28/hour based on experience)Overtime opportunitiesCompany vehicle or mileage reimbursementHealth and dental insurance (after 90 day probationary period)Paid time off (after 90 day probationary period) and holidays (6)Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding companyAfter a period of 3 years employees become eligible to be included into a revenue share for operational employees once a threshold of location count has been reached (at any level)Work EnvironmentField-based role traveling between multiple locationsFast-paced, hands-on work environment
