Job Summary and QualificationsFull time (Monday - Friday, day shift), no nights, no on-call, no weekends, no holidays Seeking an?Ultrasound Technologist/Ultrasound Sonographer?for our practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: Perform ultra sonic medical diagnostic procedures as directed by physiciansSchedule patients for ultrasonic diagnostic proceduresPosition patients and select the appropriate transducerConduct scanning procedures using ultra sound equipment moving scanner over specified body area and adjusting sonograph equipment to focusManage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports and files are correctMaintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faulty equipmentPractice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values StatementsWhat Qualifications you will need: Minimum of one year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer is requiredMust be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance to state regulationsCurrent ARRT or ARDMS license is required.FLORIDA ONLY: Must possess a current and unrevoked ARDMS.TENNESSEE ONLY: Must possess state license to perform imaging procedures in a physician practiceSupporting HCA Healthcare's 186 hospitals and 2,400+ sites of care, Physician Services plays a crucial role as the main entry point for patients looking for high-quality healthcare within the HCA Healthcare system.
