Job Description:Summary:The Operations Center at vRad plays a critical role in supporting radiologists, hospitals, and clinical teams by managing radiology workflows in a 24/7 environment. The Operations Support Representative is responsible for actively monitoring, prioritizing, and facilitating workflow to ensure timely patient care and effective communication between providers.This is a real-time operations role that requires the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Team members are expected to remain responsive and available throughout their shift, balancing inbound calls, outbound follow-up, and workflow management while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor incoming orders and imaging workflows to ensure all required clinical information is complete and accurateManage multiple active workflows simultaneously, including order processing, issue resolution, and communication with clinical teamsRespond to inbound calls and requests in a timely manner, maintaining availability throughout the shiftPerform outbound calls to obtain missing information, coordinate care, or support radiologist requestsCoordinate conference calls between radiologists, physicians, and clinical staffIdentify, investigate, and resolve workflow issues (e.g., missing information, mismatched studies, delays)Accurately document all actions and updates within internal systemsFollow established procedures while using sound judgment to prioritize and escalate issues as neededMaintain consistent attendance and adherence to scheduled shiftsWork Environment & ExpectationsThis is a 24/7 operation; schedules include nights, weekends, and holidaysWork is performed in a continuous, high-volume environment with competing prioritiesTeam members are expected to remain engaged, responsive, and adaptable as workload shifts throughout their shiftSuccess in this role requires the ability to quickly transition between tasks while maintaining focus and accuracyQualifications/Education:2+ years of experience in a contact center, operations, or high-volume service environment preferredStrong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a time-sensitive settingDemonstrated ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamComfortable working with multiple systems, including communication and workflow management toolsProfessional, courteous, and effective communication stylePreferred QualificationsExperience in a healthcare or medical environmentExperience working in a real-time or operations-focused roleSuccess in This RoleSuccess as an Operations Support Representative is defined by:Maintaining consistent availability and responsiveness to requestsEffectively managing multiple workflows without sacrificing accuracyDemonstrating reliability and strong attendanceSupporting timely coordination of care through efficient communication and follow-upContributing to overall team performance in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPay Range:$19 – $24/hourJob Classification:Sedentary – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
