Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of patients by delivering essential nursing services and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and specimen collection as needed.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients transitioning from acute to post-acute settings.
Qualifications
Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
Experience in various nursing environments is preferred, including critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or home care.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques.
Skills in IV infusion therapy, medication administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support are essential.
Experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory care is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
