Interventional Radiology Location: Lafayette, LA Agency: Medical Edge Recruitment Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Overview: Join a dynamic multidisciplinary team as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, responsible for operating advanced cardiac and fluoroscopy equipment in a high-stakes environment. Your expertise will support life-saving procedures, monitor patient vitals, and ensure safety standards are met. This critical role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Pay Package: $2,760 Weekly Pay Shift: 7am - 3:30pm (5 days per week) Required Skills: Associate degree in radiologic sciences (Required); Bachelor’s preferred Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience Proficiency in operating diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment Well-versed in hemodynamic monitoring and radiation safety protocols Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to perform complex, potentially hazardous tasks Knowledge of federal, state, and local radiation regulations Ability to adapt to evolving procedures and technology Computer literacy including web-based applications and PACS system expertise Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Required); Registered Radiologic Technologist (State & ARRT registration) Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences At least two years of professional cath lab experience Other Requirements: Must hold valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through AHA Certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice and from ARRT Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases Why Choose Medical Edge?
