Insomniac Browser seeks a full-time software developer to help improve and support its industry-leading multi-session browser.The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of the following:Experience with C++ (C++11 and newer, Standard Template Library)Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6 and newer)Experience with building cross-platform applications, specifically MacOS and WindowsExperience in web development: good knowledge of how HTTP and web proxies work.EitherExperience with the Chromium code-base and building Chromium-based browserExperience building Chrome extensions and browser-level APIsPreferable but not required:Experience with Python 3Location: Remote. The team works primarily on US Eastern and Pacific Time.We believe in fair compensation and are open to negotiation. We base the pay on the candidate's experience level.
