Relocation is not available.As a Process Operator, you will gain hands-on experience producing high-quality products in one of G-3 Chickadee's chemical manufacturing plants. We encourage you to allow us to invest in your success as you invest in ours; apply today!Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Perform routine operation of process and mechanical equipment; control, monitor and adjust as necessaryTroubleshoot process, product quality, safety and environmental problems and identify equipment requiring maintenanceReview, analyze, and interpret lab data, control system monitoring information, and log information from previous shifts to identify problems and make decisionsClean and maintain a safe work environmentAbid by standard work procedures and job safety standards, including required PPEPerform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights and/or confined spaces when applicableAdhere to company attendance policyCommunicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingUnderstand and follow all instructions, both orally and in writingBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipMust be able to successfully complete all pre-employment requirementsAbility to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededBasic computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:Associate degree in Process Operations TechnologyProcess Operations Technology certificationPrevious manufacturing experience with basic mechanical knowledgePrevious experience as a Process Operator in a chemical, rubber, or petroleum environmentDistributed Control System (DCS) experienceVocational or technical trainingMechanical or technical apprenticeship experienceMilitary technical experienceStrong understanding of mechanical concepts and problem-solving abilityExperience adhering to industry-specific safety standardsCandidate Criteria:Self-motivated with the ability to work independentlyHard worker with a strong safety mindsetAdaptable in changing environmentsTeam-orientedStrong analytical and decision-making skillsCommitment to safe work practicesMay be required to serve on the Emergency Response TeamEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:G-3 Chickadee is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
