Senior Accountant📍 Clinton Township, MI (Onsite) 💰 $90,000–$110,000 base salary DOE + potential bonus 🎯 Generous benefits package, 401(k) with company match, and generous PTOA privately owned and operated construction company with approximately $55M in annual revenue is seeking a highly detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team onsite in Clinton Township, MI. This is a hands-on role supporting multiple active construction projects while partnering closely with leadership on day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.The ideal candidate will have strong construction accounting experience, a deep understanding of project accounting, and advanced knowledge of Sage Contractor 100.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee WIP reporting and project accounting functionsSupport month-end close and financial reporting deadlinesManage AP/AR timelines tied to active construction projectsOversee project billing cycles and pay applicationsPerform cash flow analysis and fund transfersReview bi-weekly payroll processingPartner with accounting/data entry staff to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMonitor and maintain financial integrity of data entered into SageEnsure project financial data is entered and exported correctlyTrack and manage 10–20 active construction projects simultaneouslySupport projects ranging from $500K–$30M and timelines from 3 months to 2+ yearsUtilize Procore and Sage Contractor 100 dailyCollaborate closely with company leadership on accounting operations and reportingWhat They’re Looking For5–7+ years of accounting experience requiredConstruction industry experience REQUIREDSage Contractor 100 experience REQUIREDBachelor’s degree REQUIREDStrong understanding of project accounting and WIP reportingExperience managing multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite*********LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY *********Please Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
