We are dedicated to ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience when exploring and selecting products from our catalog.As we are constantly growing, we are looking for software engineers to join our engineering team on senior levels.What will you do?As a Full-Stack Engineer on our team, you'll play a vital role in advancing our catalog offerings and ensuring the seamless operation of our e-commerce platform. Your responsibilities will include:Work on the Merchandising Management System, which is the backbone of both customer-facing website as well as internal toolsAddress workflow inefficiencies that can cost days to weeks for full-time employeesImprove architecture to support the growing needs of our business as well as expand product and decoration capability offeringsCollaborating on projects to optimize search functionality and recommendation systems, leveraging Algolia's capabilities to provide users with accurate and relevant product recommendationsWorking on enhancing how prices and decoration methods are displayed on our website, ensuring transparency, and assisting customers in making informed choicesContinuously improving product details pages to provide users with comprehensive information, engaging visuals, and a user-friendly interfaceCollaborating and communicating with colleagues in the US (only during your working hours)What technologies do we use?Primarily, we use Ruby on Rails for the backend and React for frontendWe use GitHub, do proper code reviews, and utilize continuous integration pipelines to run our tests and deploy to our containerized infrastructureWe run our infrastructure in the AWS cloud and use tools like New Relic and Rollbar for monitoringWe are an agile team that follows Kanban principles and collaborates using a variety of tools like Monday.com, Slack, and Google DocsWhat do we need from you for this role?Experience in software engineering and working with various software frameworks and languagesKnowledge and proficiency in tools for tracking and managing technical debtGood communication skills and ability to work in a teamTop-notch planning and prioritization skillsWhat can we offer you?Flexible working hoursHome office or remote supportedMultisport cardFully paid AWS certificationEducation allowance $2000 per yearCompany equity packageA beautiful office in Karlín with a full fridge, amazing coffee, and an XboxEvery Tuesday, company breakfast and occasional lunches and dinnersRegular team buildings (game nights), sports events (bouldering, volleyball, ice hockey, swimming, running)Occasional trips to the U.S.J-18808-Ljbffr
