Inside Sales Rep
Job purpose
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Salesperson to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and nurture relationships with our existing accounts and customers, ensuring their satisfaction and continued business. This position also offers the opportunity for growth into a business development role, where you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the company’s expansion.
Duties and responsibilities
Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, maintaining regular communication to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Customer Support: Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and requests promptly, providing top-notch customer service.
Business Development Support: Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and quotations. Collaborate with the business development team to ensure seamless operations and client interactions.
Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations to enhance loyalty and trust.
Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services to existing customers, driving incremental revenue.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account statuses in the CRM system. Provide regular reports to the Sales Director/ Manager.
Customer Feedback: Communicate with program managers/ customer service in the gathering and relay of feedback from customers, documenting while helping provide customer comfort in the drive for continuous improvement in products and services.
Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to serve clients better and identify potential sales opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, program management, or customer service, preferably in automotive/ transportation but completely welcome experience in other markets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
Active Listening: Fully focus on, comprehend, and respond thoughtfully. Engagement with the customer, understanding the message, and providing feedback that illustrates genuine interest.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and Google Suite. Experience and/or expedient learner with customer-related "portals".
