flatbed Tow Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge, along with excellent customer service skills. This role involves responding to roadside assistance calls, safely towing vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and conflict management. Responsibilities: - Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to specified locations - Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and lockout services - Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment - Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork - Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or conflicts in a professional manner - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the tow truck Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - 2 years towing experience minimum - Proficient in operating a tow truck and familiar with different types of towing equipment (e.g., flatbed, wheel lift) - Strong customer service skills and ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally - Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and ability to troubleshoot common vehicle issues Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
